This mission was established on June 24, 2018 with Rev. Fr. Mathew Meledath as the mission director. The mission was inaugurated on the same day by Bishop Mar Joy Alappatt, the Auxiliary Bishop of the St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Diocese of Chicago in the presence of Vicar General and Knanaya Region Director Rev. Fr. Thomas Mulavanal. Fr. Jose Adoppillil is the present mission director from January 1, 2020.
This mission serves around 24 Knanaya Catholic families living in and around Orlando in the State of Florida. The Holy Mass is offered once a month at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 5900 Oleander Dr., Orlando, FL 32807.
