Malabar Social Service Society

Malabar Social Service Society is the official Social Service Organization for the Malabar Region of the Archdiocese of Kottayam and is registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 in 1992 (Reg. No. 690/92). It is a non-profit, registered, charitable society in Malabar to act as an uplifting and enlightening agent for the people of this area.
The vision of MASS is equip and empower each one how to live in love and harmony for a society based on justice and it aims at social transformation by empowering people for sustainable development without any discrimination. Malabar which is the northern part of Kerala, mostly filled with migrants from south & central Kerala was always lagging behind in development. The perceived and felt needs of the people in this region inspired the Archdiocese of Kottayam to start an organization in Malabar to act as an uplifting and enlightening agent for the people of this area.
