കൊറോണക്കാലത്ത് നമുക്ക് എങ്ങിനെ കുമ്പസാരിക്കാം? പ്രത്യേക സാഹചര്യം കണക്കിലെടുത്ത് ആവശ്യമായ ക്രമം തയ്യാറാക്കാൻ ഫ്രാൻസിസ് മാർപാപ്പ അപ്പസ്തോലിക പെനിറ്റെൻഷ്യറിയെ ചുമതലപ്പെടുത്തി. തുടർന്ന് പരിശുദ്ധ പിതാവേ നിർദേശിച്ചു;

കുമ്പസാരിക്കാൻ വൈദീകൻ ഇല്ലാത്ത സാഹചര്യങ്ങളിൽ, കുമ്പസാരത്തിനായി നന്നായി ഒരുങ്ങി ദൈവത്തോട് ഏറ്റു പറയുക….
നമ്മുടെ പിതാവാണ് ദൈവം… നിന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിലെ പാപങ്ങൾ പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിനു മുന്നിൽ ഏറ്റു പറയുക….
നിനക്ക് പറയാനുള്ളതൊക്കെയും!
എന്നോട് ക്ഷമിക്കണമേ….
നിന്റെ പൂർണ്ണ ഹൃദയത്തോടെ ദൈവീക കരുണയ്ക്കായി പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുക…. കുമ്പസാരത്തിന്റെ ജപം ചൊല്ലുക…
ഏറ്റവും അടുത്ത സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ കുമ്പസാരം നടത്തുമെന്ന് പ്രതിജ്ഞ നടത്തുക….
ഇപ്പോൾ എന്നോട് ക്ഷമിക്കണമേ…..
അപ്പോൾ തന്നെ ദൈവകൃപ നിന്നിലേക്ക്‌ കടന്നു വരും…”

1. കുമ്പസാരത്തിനുള്ള ജപം ചൊല്ലുക.
സര്‍വ്വ്വശക്തനായ ദൈവത്തോടും, നിത്യകന്യകയായ പരിശുദ്ധ മറിയത്തോടും, പ്രധാന മാലാഖയായ വിശുദ്ധ മിഖായേലിനോടും, വിശുദ്ധ സ്നാപക യോഹന്നാനോടും, ശ്ലീഹന്മാരായ വിശുദ്ധ പത്രോസിനോടും, വിശുദ്ധ പൗലോസിനോടും, വിശുദ്ധ തോമ്മായോടും, സകല വിശുദ്ധരോടും, പിതാവേ, അങ്ങയോടും ഞാന്‍ ഏറ്റു പറയുന്നു. വിചാരത്താലും വാക്കാലും പ്രവൃത്തിയാലും ഞാന്‍ വളരെ പാപം ചെയ്തുപോയി. എന്റെ പിഴ, എന്റെ പിഴ, എന്റെ വലിയ പിഴ. ആകയാല്‍ നിത്യകന്യകയായ പരിശുദ്ധ മറിയത്തോടും, പ്രധാന മാലാഖയായ വിശുദ്ധ മിഖായേലിനോടും, വിശുദ്ധ സ്നാപക യോഹന്നാനോടും, ശ്ലീഹന്മാരായ വിശുദ്ധ പത്രോസിനോടും, വിശുദ്ധ പൗലോസിനോടും, വിശുദ്ധ തോമ്മായോടും, സകല വിശുദ്ധരോടും, പിതാവേ, അങ്ങയോടും നമ്മുടെ കര്‍ത്താവായ ദൈവത്തോട് എനിയ്ക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിക്കണമേ എന്ന് ഞാനപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
ആമ്മേന്‍.
2. പാപങ്ങൾ ക്രമമായി ഓർക്കുക.
3. പാപങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തോട് ഏറ്റുപറയുക.
4. പാപങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് പശ്ചാത്തപിക്കുക.
5. മേലിൽ പാപം ചെയ്യുകയില്ലെന്നും വ്യക്തിപരമായി കുമ്പസാരിക്കാൻ ലഭിക്കുന്ന ഏറ്റവും അടുത്ത അവസരത്തിൽ പാപങ്ങൾ ഏറ്റുപറഞ്ഞുകൊള്ളാമെന്നും, കാർമ്മികൻ കൽപ്പിക്കുന്ന പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം നിറവേറ്റമെന്നും മനസ്സിൽ ഉറച്ച തീരുമാനം എടുക്കുക.
ഇത് പാലിക്കുവാൻ ആയി ഈശോയുടെ കൃപ യാചിക്കുക.
6. മനസ്താപ പ്രകരണം ചൊല്ലുക.
എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, ഏറ്റവും നല്ലവനും എല്ലാറ്റിലും ഉപരിയായി സ്നേഹിക്കപ്പെടുവാനും യോഗ്യനുമായ, അങ്ങേക്കെതിരായി പാപം ചെയ്തു പോയതിനാൽ, പൂർണ്ണ ഹൃദയത്തോടെ ഞാൻ മനസ്തപിക്കുകയും, പാപങ്ങളെ വെറുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. അങ്ങയെ ഞാൻ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു. എന്റെ പാപങ്ങളാൽ, എന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കിയതിനാലും, സ്വർഗത്തെ നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്തി, നരകത്തിന് അർഹനായി തീർന്നതിനാലും, ഞാൻ ഖേദിക്കുന്നു. അങ്ങയുടെ പ്രസാദവര സഹായത്താൽ, പാപ സാഹചര്യങ്ങളെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുമെന്നും,
മേലിൽ പാപം ചെയ്യുകയില്ല എന്നും ദൃഢമായി ഞാൻ പ്രതിജ്ഞ ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒരു പാപം ചെയ്യുക എന്നതിനേക്കാൾ മരിക്കാനും ഞാൻ സന്നദ്ധനായിരിക്കുന്നു. ആമ്മേൻ.
Confession in the Covid period

The Catechism of the Catholic Church, N. 1452, says: “When it arises from a love by which God is loved above all else, contrition is called ‘perfect’ – contrition of charity. “As the catechism teaches,” Pope Francis said, “you can draw near to God’s forgiveness without having a priest at hand. Think about it. This is the moment.”
